-
Prepare your work area by covering it with old nespaper. Place the KLB on a flat surface when cutting it to avoid breakage.
-
Using a pencil or marker, draw your mold design directly on the KLB.
-
Cut along the pencil lines with a simple kitchen knife or a stainless steel spatula for straight edge cut. To carve the wavy line use the end of a marker. The small molds are carved 1/4" deep with a piece of glass.
-
For added stability, gently round edges using fine grade sand paper. It is also useful to smooth the surface of your mold if desired.
-
Place the mold on your KLB shelf and cover it with thin fire paper. Place your decorated glass on top of the covered mold and fuse and slump in one firing.
